Sires in our breeding Program

Trooper is a sire we started using in 2022. He is owned by Joe Mix. Joe has  owned and trained griffs for over 30 years and had the first NAVHDA Versatile Champion griffon in "94". Trooper is a double bred "De Jac's" dog which aligns well with ours. On the top side of Trooper's pedigree is VC Stonyridge Gracey as a grandam. She was a full sib to our Gretta.

Trooper has done well hunting and training. He has a solid point with good search. He is very athletic and light on his feet and holds up well in the field and woods. He has a great maintenance free coat that was scored medium dense, harsh, around mid length. He has a nice dark head with good furnishings. Trooper tested NA 112 prize 1, UT 188 prize 1 and ran at the Invitational with a 163 no-pass. He is 23 1/2" tall weighing around 60lbs.

Gus is a new young male we have brought in to our breeding program for 2022. He is owned by Zach Ruiter from Pella, Iowa and is out of Willow's high testing LL litter. Gus ran a NA Prize 1-110. He is also a full sib to our little female Lovin' Lady.

Gus has a great coat, dark chestnut "clean" head, and is midsized at 56lbs.

He has good bone a great head and eye set. His hip score is in the top 20% of the breed. Gus has a solid point and intense natural retrieve that is truly phenominal!  He is doing well in the field and Zach hopes to continue his training and testing in NAVHDA.

We have started to use Gus for stud to approved females and have done a line breeding back to Stonyridge Zelda-"Zig". So far these pups are showing very intense points!

Cooper is owned by Tony Drake and is out of our "O" litter. He is sired by Shingobee Honey Boy and his dam is Stonyridge High Point, That pairing has made 4 litters for Stonyridge, with some of the highest scoring youngest testing pups in Navhda!  Stonyridge Shelby is a full sib to Cooper, (and Willow) and at less than 15 weeks of age, became the youngest pup of all the NAVHDA breeds to achieve a NA 112 prize 1. Cooper tested well with a NA 108 prize 2 and received a UT 193 prize 1, and at 2 1/2 years  with a UT Prize 1-204, at 4 1/2 years of age. He is a mid sized dog at around 58 lbs and 23" tall. Tighter coated and with a darker head. He is very athletic and loves to swim. He sired our Z, FF, and GG litters that are looking great. In 2019 he passed at the "Invitational" making him the 4th "Stonyridge" Versatile Champion!!
