Home of the Versatile Champion - VC Stonyridge Nika
Joy is one of our new dams. She is from a breeder's award litter. Her dam is Stonyridge Zelda and her sire is "Stonyridge Locked and Loaded" "Gus". Gus is a full sib to Lady both out of our "Willow".
Joy was a great looking pup and my "pick of the litter" from our TT litter. She has a great, dense, harsh coat that is very protective and maintenance free. She is midsized with a solid build and very strong and athletic. Her hip score is in the top 5% of the breed. She weighs around 50lbs and 23" tall. She is owned by Jordan Cernicka and tested well in NA with a top Prize 1-112.
Joy has a great search and cooperative nature. She checks back often with great eye contact. She has done very well on many trips to SD. She loves water and has a natural retrieve.
Joy was bred to Trooper for her first litter and has done very well.
She has 8 big pups that are growing fast. They have awesome coats with a cleaner dark head.
These pups will be available June 14th.

Rose is our youngest griff. She just turned 2 in March. We hadn't planned on keeping a pup from Willow's RR litter, but when we saw her we couldn't let her go! She is sired by Dejac's Under the Boardwalk "Bud". Bud achieved a UT 1 score at less than 1 1/2 years old and is sired by VC Stonyridge Ivan. Rose's dam Willow has been a great hunting dog for us and passed those traits down well.
Rose has a great, clean, dark liver head with nice furnishings. She has beautiful dark eyes and perfect bite. Rose has nice conformation with a very dense, harsh coat. She is around 50 lbs with a strong, solid build.
She stands 22 1/2" at the shoulder with a good PENN Hip score.
Rose has a great search in the field, loves water and has a very cooperative nature. She has a good nose and solid point and loves to naturally retrieve. She has a lot of prey drive in the field and yet is very affectionate and loving at home. She checks back often and is very friendly with other people and dogs. She NA tested with a 99 prize 2 due to my poor handling that day. Rose loves pheasant hunting and pushes hard for wild birds and is just a fun dog to hunt with.

Lady is one of our popular breeding griffs. She has been the crowd favorite ever since she was born. Her eye contact and alert demeanor is amazing. She has a great point and search and will beat many older dogs for the retrieve. She has a darker, deep chestnut coat, like her dam Willow, that is scored dense, medium harsh. She also has nice furnishings with the "griff look". Lady has been doing great in the field and tested with 3 of her littermates for an average Prize 1-111 NA breeder award score. Lady is smaller in type at 44lbs and 21", and very quick in the field. She is a little spitfire and fun to work with yet will "snuggle in" and be very affectionate!
We hope to breed Lady to De jac's Piece of my Heart Itasca again for "25". This is also a repeat breeding of her "22, 23 and 24" litters. Her pups will be darker and may have more furnishings and have been testing very well.

Willow is our ambassador griff. She greets you with eye contact and an irresistible look that demands affection. Willow is smaller in type, at 21" at the shoulder and 45 lbs, but she makes up for her size in attitude! She is relentless!! Her drive and desire is fun to watch. She is quick in the field and intense, yet at home very affectionate and loves attention.
Willow crashes water, and retrieves naturally. She has good bone and hip for a smaller dog, and is very light on her feet. Her coat has a great deep chestnut look that is dense, medium harsh. Willow learns very fast and is fun to train. She NA tested at 4 1/2 months with a 108 prize 2. She is doing great in the field and has a solid natural point. We think she has the potential to be our next VC following her full sib VC Stonyridge Otis! She is retired now and has whelped many great litters for us, and her pups and grand pups are testing very well. Willow has many full sibs that are doing well for other kennels also. She is a daughter of Stonyridge High Point and In 2021 her LL-litter tested with four pups averaging Prize 1-111. We kept "Lovin' Lady" for ourselves and have also brought in "Locked and Loaded" for stud. In 2022 we kept "Ramblin' Rose" for a future dam.

Ava does great in the field and became one of our top breeding griffs.
She is out of our VC Stonyridge Nika's AA litter that was sired by Stonyridge Magnum. She has good length and reach in the field and moves through the woods with ease. She covers ground effortlessly and can run all day! She is a nice size at 47lbs and light on her feet. She has a great, very dense, harsh coat with the best belly coverage we have seen. Her coat is virtually maintenance free and very protective.
Ava loves to naturally retrieve off land and water and is following in her mothers foot steps. She is very cooperative, has a solid point and gets along well with other dogs. Ava also has a full sib brother that is a stud dog for Riden High Kennels in Oregon. Ava is retired now and we are enjoying watching her many offspring progress.
